Privacy notice (KVKK)

Data controller

Vita Elevator Asansör San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (the "Company") acts as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 ("KVKK"). This notice explains for what purposes the personal data you share with us through our website or other channels is processed, to whom it may be transferred, and what your rights are.

Personal data processed

When you complete the contact and quotation forms on our website, we process the following data:

• Identity data: your name and surname
• Contact data: your email address, telephone number and province or district
• Customer transaction data: company or project name, building type, number of floors, number of lifts and the content of your message
• Transaction security data: the IP address and timestamp of the form submission

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed in order to evaluate your request, prepare a quotation, schedule a site survey, run after-sales maintenance and service processes, and fulfil our legal obligations.

The legal bases are: direct relation to the conclusion or performance of a contract (art. 5/2-c), fulfilment of a legal obligation (art. 5/2-ç), our legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f), and, in all other cases, your explicit consent (art. 5/1).

Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred, only to the extent necessary to fulfil your request, to our hosting and email service providers, to the manufacturer where product supply is required, and to legally authorised public bodies. Your data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention period

Form records are retained for at most 2 years after the request is concluded where no commercial relationship is established, and for the statutory limitation periods where a contract is concluded. At the end of the period the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under art. 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred at home or abroad, to request rectification if it is incomplete or incorrect, to request erasure or destruction, to request that these operations be notified to third parties, to object to an adverse outcome arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.

You may submit your requests in writing to the address above or by registered electronic mail. Your application will be concluded within 30 days at the latest.
