Spare parts

Being able to source a spare part in a lift's fifteenth year matters as much as buying the right product in its first. We supply genuine parts through a three-tiered stock network.

Stock network

Three-tiered supply

Where a part is held depends on how critical it is. Frequently replaced, breakdown-stopping parts travel in service vehicles, while rare parts are held in the central store.

Service vehicle stock

Frequently replaced items such as photocells, buttons, door shoe rubbers, relays and fuses are carried in the technician's vehicle, so most faults are resolved on the first visit.

Regional store

Door operators, landing button panels, brake shoes, ropes and guide shoes are held in the regional store and reach site the same or next day.

Manufacturer central stock

Control boards, traction machines, drive units and custom-manufactured parts are sourced from the manufacturer's stock, with lead time stated explicitly in the quotation.

Why genuine parts

The hidden cost of an equivalent part

An equivalent part looks cheaper at the point of purchase. But a lift is a system whose components are calibrated against one another: a door shoe with a different tolerance strains the door operator, and a relay with different characteristics can cause the control board to throw errors.

Beyond that, using non-genuine parts voids the manufacturer's warranty and, in most cases, conformity at periodic inspection. For that reason we use only genuine parts under our maintenance contracts.

How to request a part

To speed up your request, having the following to hand is enough: the lift's brand and model, the registration or serial number inside the car, the year of installation and, if possible, a photograph of the faulty part. With that information we can confirm most parts the same day.

  • Brand and model
  • Registration or serial number
  • Year of installation
  • Photograph of the faulty part
  • Building address and contact person

Lifetime parts access

For every lift we install we maintain parts access throughout the equipment's life. We also provide supply support for lifts of other brands.
